Monday Chat-UP- Ebezina Chukwunonso (Dont Cry, God is Near)

Hello dear friends! How are we all doing? This year is really running faster than Usain Bolt o ! Kia August is ending today and we roll over to September ... Let me be the first to wish you and loved ones a happy new month in advance... As we journey in these ember months, may our earnest heart desires come to fulfillment and may the Good Lord guide our paths...

How was your weekend? How did you turn up? It was a restful weekend for me and sleep was my closest partner..

On today's Monday  Chat-Up , I will be sharing a story which really got me encouraged and I thought it could help a soul or two out there......

As Shola left his absolute empty house in
Ketu assuring his wife not to cry anymore that things will be fine despite feeling the heat too but as the man it would be terrible to start crying too.  You will agree with me that men need to be strong in house challenges situations

Shola who has just moved to Lagos with his family left the house with 200 hundred naira , which he had to beg the BRT ticket salers to agree to take him to to Island

He arrived in Obalende at about 9,30 am, but his  nightmare was waiting for him, i thought that since so many people from our village had moved to Nairobi it would be a matter of few minutes before I locate one who would give me some money.

Shola was staring at thousands and thousands of people, places, looking for a factory or menial job but all places he stopped by were not in search of an employee.

Its 3 pm , yet nothing is forth coming, so he decided its time to start walking all the way to Ketu Mainland , but then, with what?  What would he tell the wife? What kind of husband would he be? He leaned against an electric pole and said a prayer asking God had to send someone to him. His conviction after prayer, dropped some faith in him which made him delay his walk back home for couple of hours.

4pm, 5pm, 6pm, alas, the picture presents nothing to him except that of a lost hope, to make the matters worse, walking to Ketu at that time would be like committing suicide with the kind of insecurity on that route.

At 6.45pm as we was walking down Marina Street, somebody tapped his back“how are you? I have been trying to contact you  for the last two weeks since my brother told me you came to Lagos with your family.  Where do you stay? How is your family? Okay. Am in hurry but here is my welcome to town and here is my card. Make sure you call me, lets try fix something for you.

Shola was so overjoyed receiving some thousand naira notes and dollar notes as well from this bank manager from his town.  He never bothered to tell the manager nor the wife how long he waited but she believed in the husband.

What are you going through? How long have you been waiting? Two hours? One week? One month? Two years? One decade?

Hey, whatsoever it is Hang on there, Stay there. Lean on that pole. Don't give up because someone is coming to tap your back with some good news...
