Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Still Yet To Divorce: Never Married Legally?

If we’re honest, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s relationship was a little…. odd, from the get go.

Age might be just a number and growing old may be mandatory, growing up optional, blaa blaa blaaa – appearing together they always came across more like mother and son than husband and wife.

She instigated his fashion evolution from rocking the scruffy teenage look to a polished, suave and debonair style. Posted, admittedly

rather raunchy, shots of herself on Twitter ironing his clothes. Accompanied him to basketball games.

Given, a super-hot MILF mother and son. None the less, not your average soul-mate, built to last relationship…

So strictly speaking, while kinda sad, it wasn’t the biggest shocker when the couple announced intentions to end their six-year-marriage  in November 2011, following allegations of Ashton sowing his wild oats with a series of young, attractive blondes – coincidentally, all the antithesis of his mom wife.

What is curious however, is the fact that nearly a year on from declaring plans to divorce, papers are still yet to be filed.

Ashton, now involved in a very public romance with former co-star and Hollywood hottie, Mila Kunis, has clearly moved on.

Demi, despite a rocky start involving rumors of substance misuse, anorexia and trips to rehab, also now seems to be getting her life back on track.

Could it be that the reason the couple haven’t formally finalised divorce proceedings is that they were never actually legally married?

RadarOnline reports that sources confirm, the former couple’s Kabbalah wedding, attended by 150 guests including Demi’s ex-husband Bruce Willis, was merely a ‘symbolic ceremony and not a legal marriage’.

Well well, will Ashton and Demi eventually emancipate divorce?

Or, like their relationship, was it all just a lie?
